Meet Our Founder
Nikia Beeson, NP

Women’s health has been at the center of my career for more than two decades.

My nursing career began in 2001 as a Medical-Surgical Nurse. After gaining a year of experience, I began my dream job, a labor and delivery nurse! This is where I developed a deep appreciation for the unique healthcare needs of women and their families. I worked as a staff nurse and unit educator in obstetrics, gaining both clinical and leadership experience.

In 2012, I became a board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner; broadening my clinical role and seeking greater career autonomy, better hours and the ability to provide more individualized care.

Through both corporate and private practice, my experiences have shaped the way I believe healthcare should be delivered; with time to listen, thoughtful conversations, evidence-based care, and genuine connection. I want to be accountable to my patients and not just an insurance code. It is about meeting women where they are and helping them navigate what is to come.

When I am not providing care to women, I enjoy time with my family. I have been married to my husband, Ryan, since 2001. We share two amazing kids, Macy and Maverick. They are avid golfers, so I spend a lot of time watching golf. I also enjoy boating, snowmobiling, interior decorating, and party planning.

I can't wait to meet you!

Nikia Beeson, NP; Founder of New Leaf Women's Care

Why New Leaf?

A new leaf represents hope, growth, renewal, and the opportunity to begin again.

Women may come to New Leaf at many points in life -- starting contraception, navigating gynecologic concerns, entering perimenopause or menopause, pursuing hormone therapy, or working toward improved metabolic health. The name reflects both the practice's philosophy and the founder's own decision to create a new model of care.

New Leaf Women's Care is simply not a new business venture, it is an opportunity to preserve trusted patient relationships.

Jenna Owens, MA

I have been a Medical Assistant since 2024. I have a passion for women's health and providing compassionate, personalized care to every patient I meet. I enjoy helping patients feel comfortable, supported, and heard throughout their healthcare journey.

In 2024, I also married my best friend, Chad. Together we are enjoying life as a blended family, while raising our four children. Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors, making memories with my family, and cheering on our kids as they participate in sports.

You deserve to understand your health and your options.

Your healthcare decisions should be made with you, not simply for you.

Because you are more than a diagnosis, a lab result, or a number on a chart.

We take the time to understand YOU - not just your symptoms.
